Catastrophes takes in the cats nobody else will: injured, elderly, frightened, out of options. Your gift pays for the vet, the food, the warm bed, and the weeks of patience it takes before a cat trusts a person again.

Catastrophes is a no-kill sanctuary in the Sussex countryside. No cat is turned away for being old, unwell or unfriendly, and no cat is put to sleep because it has waited too long. That promise is only possible because people give.
Add 25% at no extra cost
If you pay UK tax, tick the Gift Aid box when you donate. The government then adds 25p to every £1 you give, so a £40 gift becomes £50 for the cats. It costs you nothing.

The emergency
A cat found injured needs a vet the same day. The bill arrives long before the money to pay it does, and the decision cannot wait for a fundraiser.
The long recovery
Medication, clean bedding, food and warmth for as many weeks as it takes. Most of what a rescue spends is not the dramatic part.
The time it takes
A frightened cat needs someone to sit with it, day after day, until being near a person stops being terrifying. That is the work nobody funds, and it is the work that finds homes.
Give every month
A monthly gift is the steadiest kind of help there is. It is what lets the sanctuary say yes to a cat before anyone knows what the bill will come to, rather than waiting to see what comes in.
